Introduction

PAM8406 Dual Channel Stereo Digital Audio Amplifier Module is an ultra compact size with a 5W per channel, two channel stereo, unique class D, digital audio amplifier, which has low THD+N, high SNR result in high quality sound. It is based on PAM8406 chip, which is new filter less modern amplifiers (Class-D Mode) and the speaker is directly connected to the output without no low-pass output filters and without DC blocking capacitors, so it is very low cost and low space. The module has an excellent noise suppression, so while cutting off the input (signal or devices) you can't hear any noise, even with the ear attached to the speaker. This is supplied by a 5V power supply (USB, Battery, etc.) and can produce 5 W+5W power audio output, with left and right channel volume adjustment, which can handle 4Ω or 8Ω small speakers. Because of the double panel wiring, the crosstalk and the ground potential unbalance between left and right channels is properly eliminated. With high efficiency, it spends less energy, result in extending the battery life and suitable for portable devices. The PAM8406 is fully protected against short circuit faults and high thermal conditions.
